PREPARING FOR THE POST-GRADUATE SPHERE
Daniel Maw was born the middle of five children in a small Iowa town along the Mississippi River in December of 1982. He received his BFA from the University of Iowa in 2006 and his MFA from the University of Tennessee in 2010. Since 2012, he has been a tenure-track faculty member in Fine Arts at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he teaches Beginning Drawing, 2D Foundations, 3D Foundations, Water-Based Media, Introduction to Printmaking, General Art History, and Illustration. He recently accepted the position of Chair for Fine Arts, Humanities, and Philosophy at LCCC. After living in four different states in less than four years, he happily resides in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
